Mammad Amin Rasulzadeh, often referred to as the founder and the first and only president of the Democratic Republic of Azerbaijan (1918 – 1920), was born on January 31, 1884.
To commemorate his birth, members and leaders of Musavat (Equality) Party gathered at his gravesite to remember Rasulzadeh’s historic contributions to Azerbaijani statehood.
