Actions were taken upon Zohrab Mursalov’s complaint who is a Lachin resident settled in Agjabadi. A letter clarifying this issue was addressed to Meydan TV from the Department of Education in Lachin. The letter signed by the head of the department, Malik Veliyev stated that after Meydan TV aired a footage titled “A disabled child was beaten at school” both the complainant, Vagazin village resident Zohrab Mursalov and Kamala Nasirova who was allegedly accused of beating his son were invited to the department.
It turned out that Zohrab Mursalov’s son, Shahriyar Mursalzade was a second grade student, and Kamala Nasirova teaches the first graders. Both the complainant Zohrab Mursalov and the teacher Kamala Nasirova were invited to the department to clarify this issue. Zohrab Mursalov stated that he made a complaint in a stressful state of mind and misinterpreted the actual situation. At the moment he doesn’t have any complaint or expectations from Kamala Nasirova. Moreover, Kamala Nasirova also said that she didn’t have any issues with Zohrab Mursalov’s son.
Zohrab Mursalov issued a video appeal where he claimed that his son Shahriyar Mursalov had a disability and that he was beaten by his teacher, Kamala Nasirova.
According to the complainant’s own words the statement in Malik Veliyev’s letter addressed to Meydan TV is true and that the issue was already solved: “Today we shouldn’t cut anyone’s income. We are reconciled.”
