Azerbaijan plans to give its police even more authority when it comes to trespassing someone’s property or entering someone’s house unannounced, comments.az reported on January 25.
According to APA News Agency, the Milli Majlis (parliament) is recommended to discuss a new law that will allow the police to enter people’s houses in a number of new cases.
This includes cases the police suspect a crime was committed against the state, or if they suspect an individual is hiding documents that have proof of anti-state crimes.
