The bodies of soldiers who lost their lives on February 24-25 in a skirmish around the line of contact in Nagorno-Karabakh have been retrieved, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense has announced.
International organizations including the International Committee of the Red Cross helped in the operation.
Earlier reports from the battlefield relayed claims that the Armenian Armed Forces were not allowing for the retrieval of the soldiers’ bodies. The Armenian side denied the allegations, but lodged similar accusations against Azerbaijan.
