SOCAR announced the amount of aid allocated to the families of those who were killed and went missing after the fire in
Guneshli
, as well as rescued workers,

SOCAR informed

that, according to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, the amount of AZN 15,000 has been allocated to the families of Guneshli victims.
The aid provided to the families of 11 workers, who died during the accident, consists of the following:
– Funeral expenses and tombstones;
– Each family received a financial aid of AZN 2,100 AZN;
– Each family received the amount of three times the average wage in accordance with the Labor Code benefits;
– SOCAR provided financial assistance in the monthly amount of AZN 262.5 to the families with children under the age of 18 years old.
Also, financial aid was allocated to workers being treated for burns.
In addition, three workers were provided with housing by Neftchi housing cooperative. The housing payments will be covered by SOCAR.
SOCAR will also offer jobs to some family members at its offices and institutions in accordance with their profession, education or experience.
