Eight more people arrested over the Ganja developments were convicted on 30 September. Judges from the Ganja Court for Grave Crimes passed sentences against them in the building of the Sabunchu District Court.

Four of them – Shahin Verdiyev, Elmir Huseynzade, Vugar Yusifov and Emil Mammadov – were released. The judge also took his health condition into account and released him on parole. Vuqar Yusifov, who was serving an 18-month prison term, was released because his jail term had ended.
