Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed an order to increase salaries in December last year. According to the decree, the salaries of employees of a number of state enterprises have been increased by an average of 20 percent. The President also raised the minimum wage from 250 to 300 AZN. However, when wages rose, prices did not stay the same, and a number of daily necessities rose again. In a survey of citizens, we asked them if their salaries are in line with current prices.
