He wrote extensively about this himself. In his letter he notes that he was placed in solitary confinement for 15 days because he allegedly prevented an inspection procedure on his first day in prison. . . He was beaten in solitary confinement by deputy chief Shakir Qaniyev for responding to an insult from one of the prison workers. He was then taken in handcuffs to the office of the head chief, where he was again beaten. There, the head chief asked him, \u2018You still haven\u2019t gotten it, have you? You want rules? Here are my rules. How do you like them?\u2019 Qiyas wrote about all of this in his letter.&#8221;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Sadiqov says he plans to submit a complaint to the country\u2019s head prosecutor.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Qiyas Ibrahimov, together with another youth activist, Bayram Mammadov, was<br \/>\n  <a href=\"\/en\/article\/10-years-for-graffiti-prisoners-of-conscience-in-azerbaijan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><br \/>\n    arrested<br \/>\n  <\/a><br \/>\n  on May 10, 2016 after spraying the words \u00abHappy Slave Day!\u00bb on a monument to deceased, former president Heydar Aliyev.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  A statement issued by the Ministry of Internal Affairs claimed that upon inspection, heroin was found to be in possession of both the youth activists.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Both Mammadov and Ibrahimov have rejected the accusations.
