The Human Rights Tulip award is presented by the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It is given to individuals who have dedicated their lives to defend, promote, and support human rights in innovative ways.
In the past six years since its launch, the award has been given to a variety of institutions and individuals.
The prize of 100,000EUR is awarded to an organization/individual to further develop or expand their cause for the human rights work in their respective countries.
