Thale Bagirzade, the leader of the movement “Muslim unity”, was put in a solitary confinement insulator #1 (Kurdakhani) on March 1.
“Yesterday Thale was put in a solitary confinement for seven days,” – wrote on his Facebook page his lawyer Javad Javadov.
According to Javadov, the incident is a continuation of the pressure on his client. The reason for punishment is unknown.
It bears reminding that the famous theologian Thale Bagirzade and a dozen of his supporters were arrested on November 26 during a special police operation in Nardaran.
They are accused of preparing to seize power, and other serious crimes.
