Khojaly Massacre Survivors Live in Untenable Conditions in Baku

Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) from Khojaly live in a building located in Binagadi that was initially intended to become an emergency medical center. However, after construction stopped, IDPs and refugees from Karabakh took up residence in the building.

Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) from the Khojaly massacre live in a building located in Binagadi that was initially intended to become an emergency medical center. However, after construction stopped, IDPs and refugees from Karabakh took up residence in the building.

Bina yaşamaq üçün yararsızdır.
The building does not have proper electric, gas, sewage infrastructure and other necessities
Burada tək Xocalıdan deyil, Ağdam, Laçın və Füzuli rayonlarından da məcburi köçkünlər yaşayır.
IDPs from Aghdam, Lachin and Fizuli also reside here
Qəzalı binanın 120-yə yaxın sakini var.
There are around 120 residents living here
Binanın dam örtüyü olmadığı üçün yağan yağış birbaşa evin içinə tökülür.
Because the roof is patchy, water leaks into the home when it rains
Bina uşaqlar üçün xüsusilə təhlükəlidir. Buna görə tez-tez bədbəxt hadisələr baş verir.
The building can be especially dangerous for children who don’t pay attention to their surroundings
Binada qaz və kanalizasiya xətti yoxdur.
There is no gas or sewage system in the building
Binaya gələn su xətlərini insanlar öz imkanları daxilində çəkiblər. Kanalizasiya xətti olmadığı üçün məişət tullantıları birbaşa çölə tökülür.
Water pipes were built by residents themselves
