Baku Manager
Position 8-12 months

Duties:
– Coordinate work flow of Sivil Toplum Project, Vox popouli,
interviews, reportage in Azerbaijan in cooperation with the Team
Leader in Baku.
– Manage team of 5-8 professional journalists and future human
resources recruitment
– Liaise with Team Leader (Baku), Director (Berlin), donors, accountant
and International project team
– Must have demonstrated knowledge of project planning, strategic and
analytical skills
– Must have strong attention to detail and be extremely organised in
creating timely invoices, collecting salary slips and producing
statistics for donors
– Position has the potential for promotion.
Looking for a strong candidate who exemplifies the following skills:
– Must have 2-5 years of project management and experience in producing
results-driven leadership.
– Be motivated and a fast learner
– Must be fluent in Azeri and English
– Must be intuitive to Meydan TV’s gender policy and have excellent
knowledge of journalism ethics
– Must be a team-player and flexible to travel frequently to Tbilisi and Berlin
– Must have demonstrated office management skills including knowledge
of invoices, audits and financial management.
Position begins 1 April 2014. Salary $830 per/month. Position is for a
