One of the individuals arrested in connection to the April 10th fire of last year, Nusrat Mukhtarov, has died in a Baku detention facility. He was the deputy director of the construction division of TNH company.
As reported by APA
, the accused died of a heart attack.
On April 10th of 2015, a 9 – story high rise in Baku located on the Zigh Highway caught fire while the building’s exterior was being lined with polyurethane during a repair job carried out by construction company TNH,
reports APA.
In addition to Nusrat Mukhtarov, TNH employees Farid Sadiqov, who was responsible for the execution of the repairs, and company director, Zaur Ashrafov, were arrested and charged with negligence of fire safety protocols and abuse of executive authority.
Court proceedings in connection to the case are on going.
