Gunduz Aghayev
dedicated his latest series of satirical illustrations to the so-called “heroes of the virtual world,” the online “warriors” who mushroomed after the recent flare-up of tension between Azerbaijan and Armenia over Nagorno-Karabakh. Social media brimmed with bellicose rhetoric from both sides after the latest tensions. Aghayev, whose works appear in a number of world-renowned publications, offered a satirical perspective on the subject:
