Sabail District Court reviewed an appeal to block four websites including meydan.tv on May 3.
The government appeal asserts that websites azadliq.org, azadliq.info, azerbaycansaati.com have forcefully pushed for changes to the constitution, call for destructive action and promote extremist-religious groups.
The Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies said that the appeal was forwarded by the Public Prosecutor’s office.
The Ministry also noted that action may be taken against APA and report.az
The next court session will be held on May 12.
