The European Court of Human Rights has released 18 verdicts on cases filed in Azerbaijan.
Lawyer Esabali Mustafayev released this information on his personal Facebook page:
“I led 13 of these cases. These decisions recognized the violation of Articles 5 (the right to freedom and bodily integrity), 6 (the right to a fair trial), 7 (unlawful punishment) and 11 (freedom of assembly) of the European Court’s Convention on Human Rights in regards to individuals who had formerly gathered at peaceful protests earlier in the year. Those subjected to such treatment received equal compensation, in total around 165,000 euros…”
