A group of residents took the streets in Azerbaijan’s Jalilabad district January 18.
The demands are the same as they have been across the regions- jobs, price hikes, biased distribution of social assistance and so on.
Residents gathered in front of the districts’ social service distribution building and the city administration building.
One resident, Alipanah Rzali told Meydan TV the residents are negotiating a deal.
In the meantime, residents of Shagaci village in Astara district attempted at blocking the main Astara-Baku road. One resident speaking from the village told Meydan Tv here residents are protesting bank loans.
