On May 27 young blogger Abdul Abilov was sentenced to five and a half years in prison at Baku Court on Grave Crimes. He was charged with drug possession and distribution.
Mr. Abilov managed a Facebook page titled “Stop Sycophants,” which was shut down after his arrest.
