Ilham Aliyev has cancelled a meeting with the new President of the European Parliament, Antonio Tajani.
The meeting was set to be held later today in Brussels but was cancelled towards noon, wrote

The European Parliament is holding a panel discussion today at 13:30 Brussels time to highlight the “continued human rights violations in Azerbaijan, including the detention of activists and journalists, and the severe restrictions imposed on civil society organizations and their access to funding”.
The discussion is titled: “EU/Azerbaijan Partnership: Human Rights Under the Red Carpet?”
Investigative journalist Khadija Ismayilova will speak to the panel from Skype, in addition to director of Meydan TV Emin Milli.
